Plan the project

Resolve the brief before production.

LED, acrylic and backlit signage adds depth or illumination to a brand identity. Elegant Digital develops these signs for storefronts, reception areas and commercial façades, considering the daytime appearance as well as visibility after dark.

Acrylic letters and dimensional signs

Acrylic lettering can create a physical brand identity at a reception or storefront. Specify the logo shape, mounting background and desired depth; illumination is a separate design decision, not an automatic property of acrylic.

LED sign boards and backlit signage

For an illuminated sign, consider both its daytime appearance and after-dark visibility. Share the preferred effect and site access so the sign system, electrical coordination and future maintenance access can be discussed before fabrication.

What is the difference between acrylic letters and a backlit sign?

Acrylic describes a material, not a lighting method. Letters can be unlit or form part of an illuminated assembly. A backlit face and halo-lit lettering produce different effects; share the intended appearance and site before selecting the build.

What should be checked before fitting an illuminated sign?

Confirm the mounting surface, position, access and available electrical connection with the project team. Discuss future servicing access and outdoor exposure before approving the design. Electrical specifications must be agreed for the actual installation.

How should maintenance be planned?

Ask about cleaning access, lighting access and which components can be serviced in the proposed design. The right approach depends on the sign construction and installation location; a universal maintenance interval is not assumed.
